Created in 2008, The Pool was installed at Light City Baltimore for the 2016 spring edition of the festival. A large-scale, interactive landscape built out of concentric rings of illuminated platforms, it is one of the most prolific traveling sculptures in the world.

The sculpture invites each individual to move around, among, and on the platforms, watching as their interactions create washes of vibrant color through the sculpture. Like all of Lewin’s work, The Pool allows for an unprecedented level of interactivity, transforming the way we interact with Art and each other, bringing everyone together in the Art of Play.
