Favi

24octAll Day29Favi

Exhibition Details

Favi is an interactive light sculpture composed of 112 honeycomb-inspired tiles, created to honor and reflect the agricultural spirit of Yakima Valley.

Rising over 35 feet tall at the entrance to the Yakima Valley Farmers Market, Favi symbolizes the essential, interdependent systems that support both bees and farmers, from pollination to harvest. Crafted from 100% recycled plastic and mirrored tiles, Favi reflects the landscape, sky, and rhythms of the surrounding market by day, and becomes an interactive beacon by night.

Two interactive drums allow participants to shift color pallets, light movement, animation energy, and the dynamic rhythm of the sculpture. Like the honeycomb that inspires it, Favi celebrates cooperation, abundance, resilience, and natural harmony.
