Viewers at The Dairy Center for the Performing Arts in Boulder, Colorado had the opportunity to experience Jen Lewin’s Arc Harp. Part of Jen Lewin’s Laser Harp Series, Arc Harp and Long Harp are 60 string light sculptures designed for public play. Each of the light strings in the Harps can sense user movement, speed and tempo. Individual strings will mix its own library of sounds to create a depth and tone that compliments public activity and random or organized musical play. These harps make up part of the largest Laser Harp collection in the world.
