Exhibition Details

2014 was the first time that Burning Man witnessed Jen Lewin’s large-scale interactive sculpture, The Super Pool. By increasing the diameter of The Pool and doubling the number of platforms in the sculpture, Lewin once again increased the scope of joy and interaction that can occur at any one time on the sculpture.

Using custom, in-house technology, The Super Pool activated the Playa, bringing joy and a unique, interactive experience to each participant. The exhibition invites each individual to move around, among, and on the platforms, watching as their actions create washes of vibrant color through the sculpture. Like all of Lewin’s work, The Super Pool allows for an unprecedented level of interactivity, transforming the way we interact with Art and each other, bringing everyone together in the Art of Play.
